Prodromal labor can last for several weeks. It is important to prioritize rest, hydration, and nutrition. I also encourage you to avoid doing things to induce stronger contractions (like pumping, membrane sweeping, etc.). This is because your body is telling you that baby is not in an ideal position and forcing it into labor with a baby in a wrong position will make a much harder road for your labor and birth. Once baby is in an ideal position then you will have time to rest and consider any options to encourage labor.
Step One: Side Lying Release
I recommend doing 1-3 side lying releases every day. 10 minutes or more on each side.
