When should I wait to bind?
C-section, Difficult birth, hemorrhaging, hemorrhoids, etc. Lean into how you are feeling and if your recovery is going well, if it’s not going well yet then hold off binding.
When is it ideal to bind?
Most effective to begin in the 1-6 weeks range (or 4-6 weeks if you had a C-section) but there is some flexibility.
How long should I bind?
Most effective to bind for 8 hours a day for 40 days but there is some flexibility.
What size fabric is best?
– Sizes 0-12: 12 yards
– Size 12-18: 14 yards
– Size 18+: 17 yards
– When in doubt round up! Its easier to trim the fabric than to add to it
