This is a bereavement doula's story as I stood behind the curtain waiting for this sleeping baby to be born I prayed for the family, and then I prayed for myself. I begged God to help me be more than I am. I wanted to be supernatural in that moment. I wanted to have the perfect words and take perfect steps through every task.
